We like to receive articles and news about downtown Cocoa and the vicinity. If you have something to contribute, please call us or write us, cvnews@cocoavillage.com

When submitting text and photos, we prefer to get it with a good resolution and electronically (whenever this is possible). Let us know if you have questions as to the best way to save information for submission... We have a few tricks to convert advert artwork from ornery programs like MS Publisher to high resolution gray scale tagged image file format files, tiff. Our preference for photographs and artwork is a resolution of 300 pixels per inch, 256 gray and as a tiff with no compression or LZW compression. We also may need your fonts embedded to get the same look as your text if we don't have the same fonts, check with us and we will let you know if we have the font you want to use...

About Advertising in the News Papers

Please note that ads are subject to review. We reserve the right to decline advertising, especially if the advertising promotes business away from existing advertisers. Advertisers and sources of information agree by submitting ads or information to indemnify and save blameless Cocoa Village Publishing from any and all liability, loss or expense of any nature arising from them. Cocoa Village Publishing assumes no responsibility for unsolicited materials.

The current *pricing for ads uses how many business cards would equal the size of the ad as a method for pricing with discounts for 1/2 and full page ads.

$ 80.00	Two Business Card Size Ad
$120.00	Three Business Card Size Ad
$160.00	Four Business Card Size Ad
$200.00	Five Business Card Size Ad
$240.00	Quarter Page Size or Six Business Card Size Ad
$360.00	Third Page Size or Nine Business Card Size Ad
$450.00	Half Page Size or Twelve Business Card Size Ad
$900.00	Full Page or Twenty-four Business Card Size Ad
call:	Two Pages or Forty-eight Business Card Size Ad or possibly a 'double truck.' across center of two pages (like the map page is done). A 'double truck' may or may not be available. Availability is subject to layout constraints and mutual agreement.
call:	Half or All of the back page. Readers have expressed a desire for the back to be dedicated to events and dates, however we would consider limited advertising that was related to the downtown area to generate more revenue for publishing content. Availability is subject to layout constraints and mutual agreement. Expect pricing will be more than other pages. Like other papers, preferred advertising space is limited and priced more.
call:	Spot or full color for custom pages can be considered, but it will significantly increase costs because may required four additional runs to do color registration and other materials and labor that b&w does not require, but it is possible and subject to layout constraints and mutual agreement.
n/a	Classifieds are not offered on newsprint, but may be available on website. By request of many merchants, the paper is published bimonthly, thus the classifieds are deemed not practical.
